Literally, Feng Shui means “wind and water”. It is an ancient Chinese practice of living in balance with the environment in order to benefit from the surrounding energy (or Chi) and enjoy good fortune.

The laws of Feng Shui are used to differentiate between auspicious and inauspicious land sites and they provide instructions for positioning homes and designing rooms layouts in ways that will enhance the quality of life of their owners. They also lay down guidelines for life’s different situations.

The study of Feng Shui, that I have started several years ago as a hobby, takes us on a fascinating journey where mystical beliefs, astrology, folklore and common sense blend. It opens the doors of a magical world of dragons, tigers, wind and water, Yin and Yang, positive and negative energy forces, cosmic breath and energy flow.

Making a house a home is an important part of our lives. When we succeed at it, this is the place in which we will renew ourselves. I truly believe that living an harmonious life in an harmonious home makes us happier people.
