Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arrangement.
At the opposite of the concept of floral arrangement as a collection of multicolored blooms. Ikebana focuses on the natural shape and graceful lines of the plant. Another aspect of Ikebana is minimalism.
The container is a key element of the composition. Here, we have chosen a triangular shape which is the basis of a Japanese flower arrangement. The triangle shape is a symbol for heaven, earth and man.
- The base of the vase is a black ceramic cup with a pin frog. - The top of the vase is kiln-formed glass. It is made of black glass with dichroic glass decorations, gold designs and hand painted gold accents. It is glued on the ceramic cup. - Each vase is different and unique. The dichroic glass pieces and designs will vary. The gold designs are available in a variety of trees, dragonflies, Chinese characters, marine life... - dimensions are: 7.5" x 7.5" x 2"
