This is one of our new 2008 designs that makes a statement and brings us to reflect on duality... The sparkle of the decorative elements contrasting with the frosted base... a simple object beautiful enough to be displayed and practical enough to be used...
- The frosted finish is smooth and soft to the touch. Because it does not show fingerprints, this is one piece of glass that you won't be afraid to take in your hands. Please, touch!! - The plates are decorated with small (1/4") sparkling squares of dichroic glass (see process page to learn what is dichroic glass). Small plates have 8 squares of dichroic glass, long plates have 16. - These decorative elements are not glued. They have been permanently bonded to the frosted glass by applying enough heat to render the glass soft enough to become tacky, but not enough to melt. As you can see on the photos, they are raised on the base.
- Each plate is signed in the back. - The sets are secured with a twine and our signature glass label. - The small "champagne like" air bubbles are characterictic of the kiln-formed glass process. They are not a defect. - The "Water Frosted Plates" colors are: cobalt blue, turquoise blue and silver. - The "Fire Frosted Plates" colors are: yellow orange and red. - The "Earth Frosted Plates" colors are: emerald green, medium green and spring green. - The "Spirit Frosted Plates" colors are: light pink, dark pink and silver.

- The base of the plate is made of transparent clear glass. The top side features a frosted finish with a subtle rainbow color.
